Feb 2018

On October 21, 2017, the Flushing International Dragons Soccer team played against Arts and Business High School. Nicolas Hans helped our soccer team to claim a thrilling 3-2 victory.

Our exceptional striker, Nicolas Hans, scored twice with the assistant of his teammate, William Perez, before William hits the net himself just 10 minutes before the end of the game to secure FIHS a spot in the soccer playoffs.

When we asked Nicolas on how he feels by being the division champion and the goal scorer he said “I feel really happy to be the top scorer of the division and really proud to represent FIHS and I can’t wait for the playoffs because my teammates and I really want to bring the championship title to FIHS this time!”

The soccer team within our school is doing a really great job this year, they finished as the top of the division with only receiving one loss in the entire season.

The schedule of the playoffs is already out and our soccer team’s next step will be at Forest Hills High School on next Sunday October 27,2017 at 3 o’clock but the opponent isn’t settled yet. Our players are aiming to go far this time. If you have time, come show your support!
